Netali Shem Tov, a candidate from the 'Amcha Yisrael' party headed by Ofer Winter, responded in an interview on 103fm to the proposal attributed to Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich that Winter would receive a senior position. Shem Tov attacked the proposal, called Smotrich "confused" and revealed pressures that she claimed were exerted on her family. She clarified that her party will not compromise on its positions regarding the conscription issue, even at the cost of difficulties in joining a coalition led by Benjamin Netanyahu. According to her, "If Goldknopf continues to insist on the conscription law, we will be in trouble. Someone here will have to compromise, and it won't be us."
