Microsoft is launching Cloud Playtime, a service that allows streaming games from the cloud without a monthly Game Pass subscription. The service offers purchasing game time packages: 10 hours for $3.99 (about 15 shekels), 25 hours for $7.99 (about 30 shekels), and 50 hours for $11.99 (about 45 shekels). The hours have no monthly expiration date, and the packages include an ad-free experience, high streaming quality, and reduced queues. The service works through a browser, PC, Android, iPhone, and smart TVs, and is suitable for games already purchased that support cloud streaming, as well as free games like Fortnite. Microsoft is also exploring a free ad-supported tier. The service will open to the general public next month.
