Yinon Magel calls on Haredim: "Don't let them win"
Yinon Magel addressed the Haredi public in a video, calling on them to vote in the elections. He acknowledged their feelings of frustration but said staying home would be a victory for the Attorney General, the left, and the media. Magel urged them to vote for parties in the faith bloc.
Yinon Magel, host of 'The Patriots' on Channel 14, released a video on social media today (Sunday) directly addressing the Haredi public. Magel expressed understanding for the Haredi public's feelings of frustration and disappointment with the outgoing government, which he said failed to deliver on important issues. He explained that the original intention of the government and Prime Minister Netanyahu was to pass a law regulating the status of Torah scholars, but this faced strong opposition from the Attorney General, the judicial system, the media, and the opposition. Magel called on the Haredi public not to stay home on election day, saying that the harsh feelings are exactly what the Attorney General and the left wanted – to suppress the Haredi vote. He urged them to overcome the difficulty and vote for parties in the faith bloc that are certain to pass the electoral threshold.
