Yekaterina Raikina, daughter of Arkady Raikin, dies

Yekaterina Raikina, Honored Artist of the RSFSR, daughter of satirist Arkady Raikin and sister of actor Konstantin Raikin, has died at the age of 88. She graduated from the Shchukin Theatre School, performed at the Vakhtangov Theatre, the Theatre "U Nikitskikh Vorot" and in Montreal.

Yekaterina Raikina, Honored Artist of the RSFSR, daughter of the famous satirist Arkady Raikin and sister of actor Konstantin Raikin, has died at the age of 88. Raikina graduated from the Shchukin Theatre School, after which she served at the Vakhtangov Theatre. Later she performed at the theatre "U Nikitskikh Vorot" and at the L. Varpakhovsky Theatre in Montreal. She was married three times. In her second marriage, she gave birth to a son, Alexei Yakovlev, who also became an actor.
