An Arab teacher from the village of Tel in Samaria was arrested today (Wednesday) on suspicion of incitement and support for terrorist organizations, after he posted on social media praise for the terrorists who carried out a shooting attack in the agricultural area of the village, in which Maj. Yuval Ezra and Capt. (res.) Binyahu Malet were murdered. IDF forces from the Samaria Brigade, in cooperation with the Samaria Crime Fighting Unit (YLF), raided his home and arrested him. The investigation findings indicate that over several months, the suspect shared inciting content, praised the activities of terrorist organizations, and expressed support for security prisoners. Among other things, he posted a photo of a monument to the four terrorists who carried out the attack, with the caption "Garden of the Martyrs," and added: "May Allah have mercy on you, forgive you, accept you, and place you in the highest ranks of his paradise." In another post, he called them "my brothers, my loved ones, and my cousins, the martyrs who gave their lives for the homeland." Additionally, in the days following October 7, he shared an illustration of a Hamas terrorist using a paraglider. The police will request an extension of his detention.
