Democratic Party chairman Yair Golan was interviewed on the program "Etali and Oko" on 103FM and expressed considerable optimism about the upcoming election results. Golan stated that he believes his camp will be able to form a coalition with over 61 seats, even without the support of the Joint List. He supported including Mansour Abbas in the government but refused to commit to cooperation with the entire Joint List, saying: "I will not dance to Netanyahu's tune." Golan sharply criticized the Netanyahu government, accusing it of the October 7 failures, abandoning the hostages, delaying the rehabilitation of the north and the Gaza envelope communities, and promoting the judicial coup. He came to the defense of the "Brothers in Arms" activists and condemned the government's treatment of them. Golan promised to restore "the sacred space of Israeli unity" and protect it from any guard. He called the current government coalition "a partnership of corrupt individuals, nationalists, and draft dodgers."
