Chairman of the Amcha Yisrael party, Brig. Gen. (res.) Ofer Winter, gives an interview to ynet and clarifies that his party supports settlement in Gaza and voluntary emigration, opposes the establishment of a state commission of inquiry, and will recommend Benjamin Netanyahu for prime minister after the elections. Winter criticizes the lack of decision in Gaza and Lebanon, calls for significant recruitment of Haredim into the IDF, and expresses willingness to have Lieberman as a partner in a broad right-wing government.

Chairman of the Amcha Yisrael party, Brig. Gen. (res.) Ofer Winter, gives an interview to ynet and Yedioth Ahronoth in the final stretch of the election campaign. Winter clarifies that his party will recommend Benjamin Netanyahu for prime minister, but calls for a different government composition than the current one, which he defines as "very bad for Israel." He supports voluntary emigration from Gaza and Israeli settlement in the Strip, and opposes the establishment of a state commission of inquiry. Winter sharply criticizes the lack of decision in Gaza and Lebanon, and claims that Israel is still living under the "concept" that characterized the period before October 7. He presents the recruitment of Haredim into the IDF as his life's mission, and pledges to double soldiers' salaries as defense minister. Winter expresses willingness to have Avigdor Lieberman as a partner in a broad right-wing government, but rules out any possibility of cooperation with Naftali Bennett, Gadi Eisenkot, or the Change Camp. He emphasizes that he is not "working for Netanyahu" and intends to be an "independent defense minister" who will demand the defeat of the enemy and the integration of Haredim into the army.
