Experts have revealed a new Cloud Rebuild feature for Windows 11 that allows users to reinstall the system via the cloud without a bootable USB drive. The tool is being tested by Windows Insider participants in the beta channel and is available in Preview Build 26220.9343. The feature downloads a Windows 11 image and drivers through Windows Update, simplifying recovery when files are corrupted or system failures occur.
Experts have revealed a new Cloud Rebuild feature for Windows 11 that allows users to reinstall the operating system via the cloud without needing to create a bootable USB drive. The tool downloads a Windows 11 image and necessary drivers directly through Windows Update. Cloud Rebuild is designed for cases where installation files are corrupted or the computer fails to start normally due to a crash. The feature can be launched through the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE). Currently, Cloud Rebuild is being tested by Windows Insider participants in the beta channel and is available in Preview Build 26220.9343. Microsoft has also enhanced WinRE's networking capabilities by adding support for previously saved Wi-Fi profiles, eliminating the need for users to reconnect to the network.
