Roz Mahlouf, 25, began gaining followers with shawarma videos, but a personal religious awakening led her to change her content to Torah lessons, modesty, and faith. In an interview with Channel 14, she discusses her influence on young women, the messages she receives, and her dream of turning the internet into a tool for bringing merit to the masses.

Roz Mahlouf, 25, a businesswoman and content creator, became famous for shawarma videos she filmed at the family business and amassed nearly 100,000 followers on TikTok. In an interview with Channel 14, she recounts a personal religious awakening she underwent, which began with a feeling of inner emptiness despite external success. She started listening to Torah lessons by Rabbi Yigal Cohen, took upon herself the morning blessings, and eventually switched to wearing a skirt – a temporary commitment that became permanent. Her content changed accordingly, and today she shares Torah lessons, modesty, and faith. Mahlouf says she receives many messages from young women who have strengthened their faith because of her, and sees this as a mission of bringing merit to the masses. She emphasizes that the Holy One, blessed be He, is not a trend, and expresses hope that more influencers will discover faith. Her dream is to hold a challah separation ceremony with her followers and to bring merit to the masses on an international scale.
