Ukrainian defense company Fire Point announced the first combat use of its domestically produced FP-7 ballistic missile against Russian territory. CEO Iryna Terekh said the company continues work on longer-range missiles, which it plans to present this year. The FP-7, first publicly unveiled in September 2025, can hit targets up to 300 km away, reaching speeds of about 1,500 m/s, with a flight altitude of up to 65 km and a warhead mass of up to 150 kg. On October 1, President Volodymyr Zelensky published a video of the launch and called for serial production. The company did not disclose details of the first launch: the exact date, area, or results of the strike. The development is part of Ukraine's efforts to build its own missile weapons.
