Previously, long-term parking at JFK was only allowed for planes of Israeli and Iranian leaders. Two alternative locations are now being considered: Newark Liberty Airport in New Jersey or a nearby military airfield. Netanyahu will arrive in the US on Wednesday, September 23, to address the UN General Assembly. His speech is scheduled for Thursday, September 24. The visit will take place under enhanced protection from the US Secret Service. In New York, protests are expected from both opponents and supporters of the prime minister. According to the plan, Netanyahu will leave the US on the evening of September 24 to return to Israel before the start of Sukkot (September 25 - October 2). The Prime Minister's Office declined to comment on this information.
