A crushing response to terror: a new yeshiva established in the Dotan Valley

One month after the establishment of the Dotan Valley community in northern Samaria, a pre-military yeshiva headed by Rabbi Chaim Baruch was inaugurated. Dozens of students joined the 22 pioneering families. One month after the establishment of the new Dotan Valley community in northern Samaria, the pre-military yeshiva headed by Rabbi Chaim Baruch was inaugurated. Dozens of new students joined the 22 pioneering families who have already made their home there. The inauguration event included a Torah scroll dedication ceremony for the yeshiva's study hall, attended by National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan, rabbis, and public figures. The Dotan Valley community was established near the historic Dotan Valley, close to the battle site of Brigade 45 during the Six-Day War. This is the eighth community established by the Samaria Regional Council in less than a year, and it is the first new community founded in northern Samaria alongside those evacuated in the disengagement. The establishment of the community is part of the 'Connection Plan,' which includes the creation of 19 new communities. Minister Ben Gvir said that the response to terror is strength, governance, and settlement. Council head Yossi Dagan added that where they tried to uproot communities, a new future is being built. Yeshiva head Rabbi Chaim Baruch emphasized the importance of returning the voice of Torah to the center of northern Samaria.
