Police Commissioner Danny Levy is considering promoting police spokesperson Commander Arie Doron to head the Public Affairs Division and elevating him to the rank of Deputy Commissioner, following the expected retirement of Deputy Commissioner Lior Avodraham. Levy said in a closed conversation that Doron is doing a good job, thereby dismissing rumors about an intention to appoint former police spokesperson Eli Levy.

Police Commissioner, Chief Superintendent Danny Levy, is considering appointing police spokesperson, Commander Arie Doron, to the position of head of the Police Public Affairs Division and promoting him to the rank of Deputy Commissioner. This follows the expected retirement of the current head of the Public Affairs Division, Deputy Commissioner Lior Avodraham, who is on forced leave. Levy brought Doron with him from the Coastal District, where he served as district spokesperson while the commissioner served as district commander, and he is satisfied with his loyalty. In a closed conversation, the commissioner said: "Doron is doing a good job and is assisted by Mirit Ben Mayor." In doing so, Levy dismissed rumors about an intention to consider the return of Eli Levy, the former police spokesperson, to the position. However, Levy notes to his associates that he is considering the option alongside other candidates.
