The platform has disappeared, TikTok has taken over: Eitan Cabel marks what will decide the elections

Former MK Eitan Cabel and media adviser Itzik Elrov spoke on 103fm about the disappearance of party platforms, the growing dominance of TikTok and the issues that could decide the elections: October 7, the draft evasion law and Qatar-gate.

Former MK Eitan Cabel and media adviser Itzik Elrov spoke on 103fm about the disappearance of party platforms from the election campaign, the growing place of social networks and the issues likely to influence undecided voters. Elrov argued that since the 2013 elections, when Likud decided not to publish a platform, there has been a decline in the level of content parties offer, and the public focuses on videos and short messages. Cabel agreed, saying there has been a great depreciation in the status of the platform, and that economic issues are pushed aside in favour of security matters, especially since October 7. According to Cabel, the groups that could decide the elections are the undecided (4–10 seats) and first-time voters. He named three central issues for the undecided: the October 7 massacre and the failure to establish a state commission of inquiry, the draft evasion law during wartime, and the 'Qatar-gate' affair.
