Bill Ackman, founder of Pershing Square, said at the ARC conference at Sheba that he came to Israel because it's important for his wife Neri Oxman to vote. He praised Netanyahu, expressed concern about democratic socialists in the US, and spoke about his daughter recovering from a stroke.

Bill Ackman, founder and CEO of the investment company Pershing Square, said in an interview at the annual innovation conference of the ARC Center at Sheba Medical Center that he came to Israel now because it's important for his wife, Neri Oxman, to be here to vote. Ackman praised Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's performance during the war, and said that the risk in the Middle East has greatly decreased and the chance for peace has increased. He expressed concern about the rise in power of "democratic socialists" in the US, which he said poses a threat to the American economy and to Israel. Ackman also spoke about his daughter Lucy, who suffered a stroke and is recovering, and about his intention to establish an AI-native brain research institute, in collaboration with Sheba in the rehabilitation process.
