The new armored vehicle in Likud with a message to the Haredim: "It's not enough"
MK Eli Goldschmidt, recently elected to Likud, estimates that Netanyahu will have a majority to form a government but calls for the establishment of a broad Zionist government. He claims there is an increase in the recruitment rates of Haredim but it is not enough and quotas must be increased. Goldschmidt criticizes the state commission of inquiry, which he calls "a tool for attacking the government."
MK Eli Goldschmidt, recently elected to Likud, was interviewed on 103FM and estimated that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will have a majority to form a government, but called for the establishment of a broad Zionist government. Goldschmidt addressed the issue of Haredi recruitment and said there is an increase in recruitment rates but it is not enough, and recruitment quotas must be increased. He claimed that in the change government, then-Defense Minister Benny Gantz brought a recruitment law that was agreed upon by the Haredim, and Yair Lapid torpedoed it for political reasons. Regarding the state commission of inquiry, Goldschmidt said that a committee composed of three judges agreed upon by the coalition and three by the opposition could do the job, but added that "the story of a state commission of inquiry is a tool for attacking the government."
