Kachura was convicted in September 2025 of causing her death by negligence and sentenced to seven years in prison; the prosecution appealed to the Supreme Court. Neger also tells of a body discovered in August 2023 in a Haifa apartment, where a tenant's body was hidden inside a concrete platform in the bedroom. The suspect died days before the discovery, and the case was closed without indictment. Neger was horrified that no one reported the victim's disappearance. He also describes the challenges in murder scenes in Arab society, where scenes are deliberately tampered with, shell casings are taken, and there is hostility on the ground. Neger calls modern criminals "Netflix criminals" – a generation that learned forensics from TV series but still makes mistakes like leaving a drop of blood while cleaning the scene with chlorine.
