Israeli company Rylo (formerly Nagish) announced a partnership with Nvidia to accelerate AI model training for sign language translation. The company revealed it is already profitable and hopes to achieve unicorn status by the end of 2027.

Israeli company Rylo (formerly Nagish), which developed an app for real-time transcription and translation for deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals, announced a partnership with Nvidia. Rylo will use Nvidia's technologies to accelerate AI model training for sign language translation. In the announcement, Rylo revealed it has already become profitable and hopes to achieve unicorn status (a valuation of one billion dollars) by the end of 2027. Last June, it raised $85 million, bringing total fundraising to $101 million from investors including Canaan, Vertex, and General Catalyst. CEO Tomer Aharoni noted that Rylo hopes to reach $100 million in revenue this year. The company has a unique business model: it charges a US government fund for providing interpreters to the deaf, worth $2 billion. Aharoni founded the company with Alon Azar, and it acquired Sign.mt in 2025.
