The horrifying message emerging from the Arab world following the anniversary of October 7

Orientalist Yoni Ben Menachem stated in an interview on Channel 14 that three years after October 7, the Arab world still views the massacre as a strategic achievement. According to him, terrorist organizations have concluded from the events that kidnapping soldiers is an effective pressure tool against Israel, and they identify a trend of kidnapping attempts in various arenas.

Orientalist Yoni Ben Menachem was interviewed today by Tal Meir on Channel 14 and presented the reactions in the Arab world to October 7, three years after the massacre. According to him, despite the elimination of Sinwar, Nasrallah, and other leaders, the Arab world still views the massacre as a strategic achievement to be repeated. Ben Menachem noted that the Arab world closely follows Israeli media, especially Channel 14, and warned against jihadist Islam. He then addressed the trend that security forces identify in various arenas – Lebanon, the Gaza Strip, and Judea and Samaria – whereby terrorist organizations are trying to promote kidnappings of soldiers, based on the conclusion that kidnapping soldiers is a significant leverage point against Israel. He emphasized that the danger is particularly significant in the Gaza Strip, where IDF forces are stationed in dozens of outposts in destroyed areas, and warned of attempts to reach them through tunnels. According to data presented by the head of Military Intelligence and the Defense Minister, approximately 2,000 Nukhba terrorists who were directly involved in the massacre are still in the Strip.
