The closures on Ayalon on Saturday night have been canceled - train disruptions will continue

The Electric Company completed work in the Glilot Interchange area earlier than expected, canceling the planned closure on Ayalon for Saturday night. However, Israel Railways will continue operating on a split schedule, with no direct trains between Tel Aviv Savidor Center and Herzliya until Sunday morning.

The Electric Company announced that the work to transfer power cables in the Glilot Interchange area was completed ahead of schedule, so the additional closure of the Ayalon lanes planned for Saturday night was canceled. The road was reopened to traffic after being blocked during the night and until the afternoon. However, train disruptions will continue on Saturday night: Israel Railways will continue to operate lines on a split schedule, with no direct service between Tel Aviv Savidor Center and Herzliya stations, and shuttles for passengers. Train service is expected to return to normal on Sunday, November 8, at 4:00 AM. The work affected the Modi'in-Nahariya, Be'er Sheva-Nahariya, Ashkelon-Binyamina lines, and lines from Jerusalem and Beit Shemesh.
