A WhatsApp group of affected individuals has been established with 27 members. Tamar Kurkin said the car's computer showed adulterated fuel. Sigalit Ben Hamo, a disabled person who relies on her vehicle for medical treatments, described smoke and noises from the car. Or Kanyas said the engine danced and stalled, leaving her stranded without a car before the holidays. Delek Israel responded that its tests were normal, but a test by the Fuel Administration on September 14 indicated an abnormal finding. The company announced it would activate insurance and work to repair the affected customers' vehicles.
