Irish author Sally Rooney has pledged to donate royalties from her book sales to the terrorist organization 'Palestine Action', which has been outlawed in the UK. In response, publisher Faber & Faber announced it will no longer supply her works in the UK in any format. Rooney, for her part, did not distance herself from her decision and even stated: 'I have made every effort to be honest with the public about my beliefs and intentions. I am completely ready to accept the consequences.' Rooney has supported the organization for a long time and called its outlawing 'an extreme attack on the rights and freedoms of ordinary citizens.' The organization, based in the UK, defines itself as 'a direct action movement committed to ending the world's participation in Israel's genocide and apartheid regime.' Its outlawing occurred about a year ago, after its militants broke into the largest UK air force base and sprayed paint on two aircraft. Since then, more than 3,000 people in the country have been arrested for expressing support for the organization.
