Sean Combs (P. Diddy) was rushed from the federal prison at Fort Dix, New Jersey, to a hospital with a head injury after a brawl with Jamaican drug lord Christopher "Dudus" Coke. According to sources cited by TMZ, Combs sustained the more severe injury, requiring transfer to a medical facility outside the prison. The fight erupted due to inmates' anger, led by Coke, over the "lavish" living conditions the rapper enjoyed in prison. The exposure of these conditions in the media led to two raids by prison authorities and the confiscation of mobile phones from inmates, including Coke. Coke, who has been serving a 23-year sentence since 2012, was furious over the loss of the privileges he had enjoyed until the raids. After the brawl, both inmates were sent to solitary confinement for two weeks. Additionally, Combs' release date was postponed from January 21, 2028, to March 2, 2028. Combs was convicted in July 2025 on two counts of sex trafficking and sentenced to 50 months in prison.
