The Israel Tax Authority reported the seizure of a package containing steroids disguised as liquid for printer paint production. The package, ordered from abroad, raised suspicions among the anti-drug unit of Ben-Gurion Airport customs. The authority warned citizens about the dangers of purchasing medicines through unknown sources, emphasizing that the conditions of manufacture, storage, and transport of such substances cannot be verified. The package was addressed to a resident of Abu Ghosh. Officers of the central investigation unit of the Shfela district tracked the shipment to the Yad Binyamin area, where the suspect was detained. The detainee claimed he was unaware of the contents and acted at the request of a relative in Thailand. The seized substance has been sent to the police forensic identification laboratory. The court extended the suspect's detention. A joint investigation is ongoing.
