The investigation began after an 11-month-old toddler was brought to Meir Hospital suffering from an ear injury. During the investigation, conducted using technological means, suspicion arose that assistants at the daycare acted violently towards the toddlers: they lifted them by force, threw them to the floor, pulled their ears, and threw objects at them. Three suspects from the daycare staff were arrested. The affair raises public concern given the severity of the acts attributed to the educational staff.
