The Israeli army continues to escalate its attacks on towns in southern Lebanon, through airstrikes, artillery shelling, gunfire, and demolition operations, while simultaneously creating rugged mountain roads to connect its new military positions in the central and western sectors. The National News Agency reported that Israeli artillery shelling targeted the towns of Al-Mansouri and Majdal Zoun, while Israeli forces fired machine guns towards the Wadi al-Hajir and Wadi al-Saluqi valleys. The area around Nabaa Ibl al-Saqi also came under heavy artillery shelling, with more than ten shells falling. Several areas in southern Lebanon have witnessed, since dawn, a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting the towns of Adshit al-Qusayr, Kafr Tibnit, Al-Qusayr, Aita al-Jabal, and Froun, while artillery shelling hit the outskirts of Aita al-Jabal and Baraashit. Israeli forces carried out a detonation in the town of Bani Hayyan in the Marjeyoun district, alongside drone flights over the southern suburb of Beirut, and the areas of Zahrani, Iqlim al-Tuffah, and east of Sidon. These attacks come in the context of ongoing Israeli violations of Lebanese sovereignty by land and air, while no immediate official statements have been issued clarifying the extent of damage or casualties resulting from the recent strikes.
