Some eight months after his elimination: Ali Khamenei 'posted' on X a message for the anniversary of the October 7 massacre

Some eight months after his elimination, the official X account of former Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei posted a tweet in Hebrew marking the anniversary of the October 7 massacre. The tweet, dated October 10, 2023, repeated his claim that the Hamas attack was an "irreversible military and intelligence defeat for Israel." Israelis responded with jabs, including "Is there reception in hell?"

Some eight months after the elimination of Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, by Israel last February, his official Hebrew-language X account posted a tweet on Tuesday evening marking one year since the October 7 massacre. The tweet bore the date October 10, 2023, the date of Khamenei's first public speech since the start of the war. The post stated that "since 'Al-Aqsa Flood,' the occupying Zionist entity has suffered an irreversible defeat, both militarily and intelligently." Khamenei frequently used his Hebrew account to send threats and jabs toward Israel, but the account was less active than those in other languages. The previous tweet was posted in early January this year, about two months before his elimination in Operation "Lion's Roar." Israelis did not miss the opportunity and responded with a series of jabs, including: "Is there reception in hell?"
