Sohlberg's extraordinary order against the Likud campaign – and the harsh response

Central Elections Committee Chairman Sohlberg issued an order instructing local authorities to remove Likud campaign signs depicting Eisenkot alongside Abbas and Tibi, after Likud failed to comply with a previous removal order. Likud responded harshly.

Central Elections Committee Chairman, Supreme Court Justice Noam Sohlberg, issued an order instructing all local authorities in Israel to remove Likud campaign signs showing Gadi Eisenkot alongside Members of Knesset Mansour Abbas and Ahmad Tibi. The order was given after the "Yashar!" party petitioned, alleging voter deception, and following non-compliance with a previous removal order. Likud responded harshly, stating, "This is another attempt to hide the fact that Eisenkot intends to form a left-wing government with Tibi, Abbas, Yair Golan, Lieberman, and Bennett, which will surrender on all fronts and not defeat Iran." Sohlberg ruled that if data on removal costs are submitted, he will consider ordering expense deductions.
