Smotrich attacks Winter: "You are trampling on Netanyahu and me"

Bezalel Smotrich responded to Ofer Winter's criticism, accusing him of boycotting and focusing his election campaign on attacking Netanyahu and Smotrich himself rather than on his strengths.

Leader of the Religious Zionism party Bezalel Smotrich responded to criticism from the chairman of the Amcha Israel movement, Ofer Winter. Earlier, Winter published a video in which he criticized Smotrich and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for attempting, through Rabbi Eli Sadan, to have him removed from the Knesset elections. Smotrich stated that Winter has refused to meet or speak with him for six months, despite them belonging to the same political camp. He also accused Winter of running a campaign that contradicts his own call to focus on his strengths rather than attacking others. According to Smotrich, Winter's entire video and campaign is "one continuous trampling on the prime minister and on me."
