A severe indictment was filed with the Tel Aviv District Court against a 25-year-old man from Bnei Brak, accused of a cruel and prolonged attack on his 20-year-old partner. The central incident occurred in late September, after the defendant was released from detention under restrictive conditions for a previous assault on the same young woman. Immediately upon his release, he violated the restraining order, contacted her and brought her to his apartment. There, over many hours, he punched her, choked her, repeatedly slammed her head into the floor, kicked her genitals, threatened to rape her, and locked her in a room. As a result, she suffered fractures to her eye socket and nasal bones and severe facial injuries. The young woman tried to escape several times, but the defendant chased her, covered her mouth and dragged her back. He threw a burning cigarette at her and pressed a knife to her stomach. Only the next day at 17:30 did she manage to escape to her parents' home, badly injured with her eye closed. The defendant chased her on a scooter, entered the family's home and threatened to murder the family members and burn their vehicle. The indictment describes another incident from July, in which he attacked his partner's father and pushed him down the stairs. The prosecution requested that his detention be extended until the end of proceedings, emphasizing his dangerousness.
