Three men in their twenties were wounded, one seriously and the others moderately, in a shooting crime on Omar al-Sa'sa'ani Street in the city of Shefa-Amr on Thursday evening. Medical teams from Magen David Adom and Ichud Hatzala provided initial treatment to the wounded, who suffered penetrating injuries, and then transferred them to Rambam Hospital in Haifa for further treatment. Police launched an investigation into the circumstances of the crime, whose background is not yet known, without announcing any arrests of suspects. The report concludes with an editorial note about the failure to provide security for Arab citizens amid rampant crime and lack of deterrence.
