Shas senior official declares: On the way to a surprise - "atmosphere polls"

Buso addressed the conscription issue, ruled out sitting in a coalition with Yair Golan or Lieberman, and emphasized Shas's commitment to its social and Torah principles.

MK Uriel Buso (Shas) was interviewed on 103FM and declared that Shas is expected to surprise in the upcoming atmosphere polls and achieve a significant political success in the elections. Buso attacked the public criticism against party chairman Aryeh Deri and defended the party's position on the issue of Haredi conscription. According to him, the state unilaterally changed the agreement with the Haredi public, and he called for removing the issue from the agenda in the next term. Buso strongly ruled out the possibility of coalition cooperation with Yair Golan or Avigdor Lieberman, and emphasized that Shas remains loyal to its social and Torah principles. He noted that Shas has always taken on social portfolios, and that the party's ministers were the best during difficult times. Buso, who defines himself as an officer who served full service, claimed that the army is not prepared for suitable frameworks for Haredim.
