A violent confrontation took place at Kafri Junction in the Western Galilee, around 6:00 PM, during a protest against the Prime Minister, the government, and the judicial overhaul. According to witnesses, a driver arriving from Ma'alot stopped at the junction, began shouting insults and accusations at the protesters, and then attempted to drive her vehicle toward protesters standing at the crosswalk. Subsequently, according to witnesses, the attacker used a flagpole to try to strike additional protesters and broke two flags. No physical injuries were reported, but a commotion ensued. The incident occurs against the backdrop of dozens of protest sites scattered across the country, from the north to the center, accompanying tens of thousands of vacationers and celebrants traveling on the roads. The protesters stated: "We are the fighters for democracy, we have kept Israel democratic through a three-and-a-half-year struggle, and we will bring victory over the halachic tyranny of the Netanyahu government."
