An elderly man was injured with bruises and contusions on Wednesday in an attack by settlers on Khirbet Uqawis in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron. A group of settlers attacked residents' homes and assaulted them, injuring the elderly man, Jibrin Musa al-Na'amin. Ambulance crews transferred him to Yatta Governmental Hospital. The settlers smashed the doors of one house, surveillance cameras and other property, before occupation forces stormed the area and arrested Nael al-Na'amin, the owner of the house. In the areas of Aghziwa and Wadi Ma'in east of Yatta, settlers stole large quantities of olives from the lands of the Abu Tuhfa and al-Jabarin families, and stormed an agricultural room belonging to citizen Qasim Abu Tuhfa and stole tools and equipment. Residents suffer from continuous attacks that have escalated since a settlement outpost was established on their lands four months ago, only dozens of meters from their homes.
