Settler attacks on Palestinians and their land in the occupied West Bank continued on Wednesday, with a rise in targeting farmers during the olive season. In the town of Deir Jarir east of Ramallah, occupation forces prevented Palestinians from accessing their agricultural land in the Al-Hara'iq area to pick olives, under the pretext that it is a closed military zone. In the Nablus governorate, settlers set fire early Wednesday to agricultural land belonging to the town of Burqa northwest of the city, causing parts of it to burn. In the Hebron governorate, settlers stormed the Aharibat al-Nabi area in Masafer Yatta and attacked members of a family using sharp objects, resulting in injuries to the head and face. The injured were taken to Yatta Governmental Hospital, and then Said Majed Rashaida was transferred to the Al-Ahli Hospital where he was admitted to intensive care. In another attack, two Palestinians were injured in an assault by armed settlers on the village of Umm Nizel in Masafer Yatta, which included attacking residents and throwing stones at homes and residential and pastoral structures. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that ambulance crews provided first aid to the injured.
