They only wanted to dance: A memorial evening for Roya and Noral who were murdered at the Nova party

At an emotional memorial evening, Sigal Manzouri spoke about her daughters Roya and Noral, who were murdered at the Nova party, and about the "NORO Lighting the Way" project she established in their memory, which provides therapeutic support to at-risk girls through styling and fashion.

At an emotional memorial evening held on October 21, 2026, Sigal Manzouri spoke about her daughters Roya and Noral, who were murdered at the Nova party. Sigal shared with those present the complex commemorative journey she and her family are leading in Israel and around the world, out of a desire to spread the light of her daughters. One of her and her partner Menashe's greatest fears is that their daughters will be forgotten, and from that fear grows the strength to continue commemorating. Sigal also spoke about clearing out Roya and Amit's apartment, and about the choice to keep one item and pass the rest on. Out of a desire to turn memory into living action, Sigal and Liat Ben Artzi established the "NORO Lighting the Way" project, an open house that brings together the worlds of the two women and provides therapeutic support to at-risk girls through styling and fashion as tools for female empowerment.
