The order was issued following a surprise inspection conducted by the ministry last Thursday at 28 Habarzel Street, which revealed severe findings regarding operating room management and patient safety. Among other things, cases were found where medical procedures were performed in violation of professional authorizations and mandatory instructions, along with additional deficiencies in work processes. The district doctor issued an order to cease operations until further notice, emphasizing that continued operations pose a "serious and immediate danger to patients." All involved parties, including the management of the Medica network, its owners, and the board of directors, will be summoned for a hearing. Concurrently, the ministry is considering taking personal measures against those who performed actions outside their professional authority. These findings add to severe deficiencies found in a surprise inspection at Medica Rafael last July, which led to the suspension of operating room activities there.
