Retired judge Menachem Ne'eman sharply attacked former Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit following his testimony in the trial of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Ne'eman stated that the trial must be halted immediately, calling Mandelblit's testimony a 'most dramatic event'. Ne'eman referred to Mandelblit's admission that he did not read all the investigation materials, saying this fact undermines the entire basis of the trial. According to him, 'this entire affair from the outset was born in sin and must end'. Ne'eman added that the bribery charge was innovative and required thorough examination that did not take place, stating that 'there is not even one that can be considered bribery'. He also referred to Case 1000 and called Hadas Klein's testimony a 'bubbe meise'.
