Rescue services on Kinneret beaches will not operate on Yom Kippur

The Kinneret Cities Association announced that rescue services on the beaches under its control will not operate on Yom Kippur. On the eve of the holiday, September 20, lifeguards will be on duty until 2:00 PM, after which their work, as well as security and cleaning, will be suspended until the end of the fast at 8:00 PM the following day. Swimming without lifeguards is prohibited and dangerous.
