Reports on damaged Likud ballots: How to ensure your vote is not invalidated
Reports from polling stations in Ashkelon and Netanya about Likud ballots with scribbles and "B'S"D" inscriptions that could lead to vote invalidation. The warning comes after a publication on Channel 14 about an attempt to mislead right-wing voters. The public is called to check the ballots before voting.
Reports received today (Tuesday) during the elections for the 26th Knesset indicate concerns about the integrity of the voting process: at polling stations in Ashkelon and Netanya, Likud ballots were reported to have scribbles and "B'S"D" inscriptions. Such markings could lead to the invalidation of votes during counting. At this stage, it is unclear who is behind the marking of the ballots and whether it is a deliberate attempt to harm Likud voters' votes. As a reminder, yesterday Channel 14's political desk head, Mati Tuchfeld, warned of a "B'S"D trap." Tuchfeld revealed a call on social networks for religious and traditional voters to add the inscription "B'S"D" to the ballot, clarifying that this is an initiative by left-wing elements aimed at invalidating right-wing votes. According to him, adding an inscription or marking to the ballot could disqualify it, even if done ostensibly for religious reasons. Against the backdrop of these reports, the voting public is called to carefully check the ballot before inserting it into the envelope and ensure it is free of scribbles, writings, and unusual markings.
