MK Itamar Ben-Gvir, chairman of the Otzma Yehudit party, publishes an opinion column detailing his achievements in the Ministry of National Security over the past four years. He notes that he established the National Guard with 1,000 fighters, increased the police force by more than 4,000 officers and the prison service by more than 2,000 correctional officers. According to him, he established 1,065 emergency response teams with about 14,000 armed volunteers, armed more than 300,000 civilians and fighters, and demolished nearly 19,000 illegal structures in the Negev. Ben-Gvir claims that attacks decreased by about 75% and that the Ramadan holidays were the quietest in a decade. He asks the public to vote for him so he can continue the revolution as Minister of Defense, and promises to work to encourage voluntary emigration for residents of Gaza and Judea and Samaria, to dismantle the Palestinian Authority, and to raise soldiers' salaries.
