Preparing for the Lebanese winter - farthest from the border: "One night in Tyre"

IDF Reserve Paratrooper Brigade 55 completed 80 days of combat in southern Lebanon, clearing the area from the border to the Yellow Line. The forces destroyed over 600 terrorist infrastructures, found unusually large amounts of weapons in homes, and thwarted Hezbollah infiltration attempts. They are now preparing for the Lebanese winter, with the deepest position 12 km from the border.

IDF Reserve Paratrooper Brigade 55 completed a significant chapter in the campaign in southern Lebanon after 100 intensive days of mobilization, including 80 days of combat. The main mission was clearing the area between the border and the Yellow Line, destroying over 600 terrorist infrastructures, eight shafts, dozens of explosive devices and launchers, and many weapons depots. The forces encountered unusually large amounts of weapons in almost every home, including crates of grenades, vests, helmets, and depots of 20-30 weapons. During the operation, about 10 Hezbollah operatives who tried to cross the Yellow Line were thwarted using tanks, the air force, and drones. The forces are now preparing for the Lebanese winter, staying in protected compounds in villages. The sector depth reaches 12 km from the border, and it is assessed that Hezbollah will continue trying to penetrate pockets along the Yellow Line. Meanwhile, two operational accidents were reported over the weekend: a vehicle collision under Division 36 with light injuries, and a grenade malfunction under Division 91 with serious and moderate injuries. The main challenge is the strain on the reserve system, with 4,500 fighters in their fourth or fifth rotation, and the operation of a support system for the home front.
