Cohen claimed that the kingdom, which is dealing with severe attacks on its infrastructure and oil facilities and struggling to obtain international aid, chose precisely now to direct its arrows at Israel. According to him, just hours after the incident, Saudi Arabia rushed to publish a condemnation statement, even calling the area "the holy places in occupied Palestine." Cohen added that alongside the criticism, Saudi Arabia is struggling to receive aid from other countries, and that "the missiles are hitting their infrastructure and oil facilities, the Saudis are humiliated and no one wants to help them." He noted that the United States and other countries are not rushing to respond to Saudi requests, and that "the Turks and Pakistanis are not dealing with this, but they have time to deal with the visit of a few Jews to the Temple Mount."
