Possible scenario: What would Israelis prefer if the elections are not decided?

A Channel 14 poll, published this evening (Tuesday) in the broadcast, examined what Israeli citizens would prefer if, after the elections for the 26th Knesset, which will take place in less than a month and a half, no bloc manages to form a government on its own. The poll, conducted by NEXT DATA among 483 adults from the general population on September 15, 2026, presents four options: 38% of respondents prefer a transitional government followed by new elections; 28% prefer a minority government with Arab support; 24% prefer a unity government led by Netanyahu–Eisenkot; and 10% said they have no opinion. Another poll conducted among coalition voters only asked whether they agree with Prime Minister Netanyahu's assessment that the 'Amcha Yisrael' party, led by Ofer Winter, will not pass the electoral threshold and will waste votes for the right. 47% of respondents agreed with the claim, 25% disagreed, and 28% said they do not know.
