The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine presented a comprehensive national paper titled "A Roadmap for National Salvation" during an expanded political and trade union meeting in the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip. The meeting was attended by leaders of trade union bodies, representatives of professional unions, and press and media cadres, and was organized by the Front's Trade Union Action Committee at the headquarters of the Solidarity Media Center. PFLP leader Hani Khalil reviewed the initiative's seven main points, emphasizing that it aims to open a broad national discussion on ways out of the crisis-ridden reality facing the Palestinian cause. Head of the Democratic Press Gathering, Ramzi al-Mughari, said the initiative is not a closed formula or a political dictate, but a national working paper open for discussion, enrichment, and amendment, aiming to reach a unifying vision that rebuilds partnership and unified national decision-making amid the ongoing genocide war and siege on Gaza and the annexation and settlement plans. Khalil explained that the Front sees the priority as requiring a consensual transitional phase to enhance citizens' steadfastness, rebuild the PLO on democratic foundations, and form a national consensus government that unifies institutions between the West Bank and Gaza and paves the way for comprehensive elections. Head of the Trade Union Action Committee, Muhammad Najeeb al-Majdalawi, confirmed that the Front has begun a series of meetings and dialogue workshops with various sectors to present the initiative as a ground for dialogue.
