Poll "Friday Studio": Sweeping advantage for the change camp on civilian issues

A "Friday Studio" poll shows a clear advantage for the change camp on a range of civilian issues, including equality in burden-sharing, education, and health. 57% of the public prefer a candidate other than Netanyahu for prime minister, and the opposition bloc leads with 50% of voting intentions, compared to 37% for the Netanyahu bloc. The gap in suitability for prime minister remains stable at 24%.

A "Friday Studio" poll published on September 19, 2026 presents a consistent political picture: the anti-Netanyahu bloc leads in voting intentions with 50% (including the Arab parties), compared to 37% for the Netanyahu bloc (the coalition and the party of Ofer Winter). An additional 3% vote for the "third bloc" (Blue and White, Zalicha, and Handel). The undecided rate dropped to 10%, of which about 4.8% have not yet formed a clear direction between the blocs. On the question of suitability for prime minister, 57% prefer a candidate other than Netanyahu compared to 33% who support Netanyahu – a stable gap of 24% unchanged from the previous poll. The poll examined for the first time public preferences on civilian issues: in all parameters, a clear advantage was recorded for a government led by the change parties and Gadi Eisenkot. The largest gap was recorded on the issue of equality in the burden of conscription – 57% versus 20%. Also in the areas of democracy, education, health, cost of living, transportation, the judicial system, and the fight against crime – the change government receives a preference of about 50% compared to about 25% for the Netanyahu government. 75% of the public rated Israeli hasbara since October 7, 2023 as "poor." The poll was conducted by the "Midgam" institute headed by Mano Geva, among 501 respondents, with a sampling error of +/- 4.4%.
