Police raided an event attended by 500 people in the town of Hura in the Negev, organized in honor of a released security prisoner. The prisoner, Hadam Younes Abu Shaar, about 20 years old, was imprisoned after throwing stones at vehicles on Highway 31 with the intent to murder Jews. The event was initially planned at a hall, but after police did not approve it, it was moved to his home, where police forces raided and dispersed the attendees.

The event was initially planned to take place at an event hall, but police did not approve its holding. After intelligence information was received about an intention to move the event to the released prisoner's home, forces from the Rotem station in the Southern District deployed at the scene and dispersed the attendees. Police stated: "We will not allow events that constitute a violation of public order or create friction and risk hotspots, and we will act decisively, with zero tolerance and using all means at our disposal against any attempt to break the law and harm public security."
