“Please, in my coalition the Arab parties sit with Ben Gvir”

Lod Mayor Yair Revivo calls for the formation of a broad Zionist unity government and the inclusion of Arab parties in the coalition alongside Itamar Ben Gvir. In an interview with 103FM, he argues that Jewish-Arab partnership is possible through pragmatic solutions, and attacks the hypocrisy surrounding calls for a state commission of inquiry.

Lod Mayor Yair Revivo, in an interview with 103FM, addressed the call by municipal heads for a broad Zionist unity government. Revivo supported the letter calling for a broad national Zionist government, urging an end to political boycotts and the inclusion of Lieberman and Netanyahu together. At the same time, he referred to another letter from Arab community mayors calling for partnership with Arab parties. Revivo argued that Jewish-Arab partnership is possible when pragmatic solutions are presented, and spoke about the partnership in the Lod municipality. He called for the establishment of an Arab party with purely civic messages, noting that there are 3-4 mandates of Israeli Arabs who have served in the military and want partnership. Additionally, he attacked the treatment of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and said there is hypocrisy in the attempt to remove him from power through a state commission of inquiry, while calling for investigating the events of October 7 out of a desire to learn and not out of revenge.
