In the village of Sinjil, a group of activists damaged and stole olive tree crops, allegedly with the presence and assistance of IDF soldiers who covered the activity. Revenge graffiti was sprayed on the walls of the villages. Meanwhile, the IDF continues to reinforce forces during the Sukkot holiday for fear of continued friction incidents. Yesterday, the 98th Division headquarters began operating, taking responsibility for the area south of Jerusalem. The IDF reinforced its forces in the West Bank over the past day, and in addition to the 23 battalions already active, forces were brought from Lebanon and Gaza, including Egoz Reconnaissance Unit fighters who finished fighting on the Ali Taher ridge a few days ago.
