A fundraising campaign by the Olam HaTorah fund has crossed the 30 million shekel mark. The Vizhnitz Rebbe joined at the last moment and made a substantial donation. His son, Rabbi Chaim Meir Hager, conveyed his blessing to the activists. Thousands of seminary students raised over 10 million shekels.

The 'Lema'an Toratecha' fundraising campaign by the Olam HaTorah fund is nearing its conclusion after raising over 30 million shekels. Hours before the campaign's close, the Vizhnitz Rebbe joined and made a substantial donation. His son, Rabbi Chaim Meir Hager, arrived at the campaign headquarters on his behalf and conveyed his blessing to the activists and donors: 'Fortunate are you who have merited to act and work for the sake of the Torah world.' The campaign was launched against the backdrop of the cessation of government budgets and sanctions following the conscription law crisis. Thousands of Haredi seminary students raised over 10 million shekels, with each student assigned a personal goal of 8,400 shekels – the annual cost of supporting a yeshiva student or avreich.
